About Us
Mirmex DC Motor - Our Mission
Our passion is Mechatronics. Our mission it is to build better and more efficient motors. We have worked on our patented Mirmex technology for years and are proud to say it is changing the way SBLDC motors are being built.
Get in touch to find out how Mirmex SBLDC windings can increase your company’s performance and reduce cost of motor building and prototyping. Our technology has opened up a sea of opportunities. By being the first to adopt the Mirmex dc motor technology, we can disrupt your competitors together.
Meet the executive team
The Driver
Dr. François Baudart, CTO
Graduated magna cum laude and received a Ph.D. degree from the Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain (EPL), Louvain-la-Neuve. After a post-doctoral research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), he became the driving force behind Mirmex. He also co-founded Quimesis SPRL, a robotics and smart devices startup.
The Leader
Cedric Van Rossum, CEO
Cedric Van Rossum brings 20 years of experience in the Technology and Industrial sectors. His experience was gained in Europe and the USA where he held various positions both in $billion industrial multinationals as well as a Californian startup he co-founded. Cedric Van Rossum has a master in Electronics Engineering from Ecole Centrale des Arts et Métiers (ECAM) as well as a post-graduate Business Administration degree from UCLouvain. His role is to guide Mirmex towards becoming a global industry leader.
The Innovator
Pr. Bruno Dehez, Chief Scientific Advisor
Professor Bruno Dehez holds a M.Sc. and PhD degree in electromechanical engineering from UCLouvain. Since 2015, he has been an Associate Professor of the university, and is currently the head of the Centre for Research in Energy and Mechatronics (CEREM). His research interests include the design and optimization of electrical actuators. Without professor Dehez’s scientific work there would have been no Mirmex.
